Stronger February home sales in Waukesha County push metro area to 1.5% increase

Milwaukee-area home sales continued their slow creep upward in February, rising 1.5 percent thanks to a boost in Waukesha County activity, according to the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors. The four-county region counted 945 sales last month, 14 more than February 2016. Waukesha County saw sales increase by 6.5 percent, or 16 deals, offsetting a 7.1 percent loss in Washington County and flat numbers in Milwaukee and Ozaukee counties.
