Big changes in Dayton-area housing market

As the local housing market picks up, the number of available homes for sale in the Dayton-area continues to fall. The improving market demand and declining supply helped push the median price for a local home sold in February to $126,500, up 17 percent from the year before, according to the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, which collects data in Montgomery, Greene, Warren, Darke, and Preble counties.
