Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier is swinging for the fences in Arizona. The All-Star has listed his magnificent mansion in Gilbert, AZ, for $5 million.
According to the listing agent, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom home is listed at its current appraisal value.
The 4.5-acre property offers 9,326 square feet of living space. The home is decked out in rustic wood, leather-clad walls, and a two-story dressing closet with a sliding ladder.
Additional highlights include trestle-beamed ceilings, copper-clad exterior features, dual master baths with private meditation gardens, and eye-popping exterior metal work.

While ladies may go gaga for the multilevel closet, the true highlight for dudes is Ethier’s fabled “shed”—a man cave beyond compare. Decked out in reclaimed wood, it includes a hot rod garage, batting cage, fitness center, game room, and kitchen. Check the video to see for yourself.

Ethier is a Phoenix native who grew up about 25 miles away from the home he’s selling. He’s also a Dodgers lifer: He came up through their farm system and made his MLB debut in 2005 and finished fifth in the Rookie of the Year voting.

Since then, Ethier has been a staple in the outfield at Dodgers Stadium. Injuries have hampered his career as of late, and he missed most of 2016 with a broken tibia.
Ethier signed a five-year deal with the Dodgers in 2012 worth a reported $85 million. He’s due to make $17.5 million for the 2017 season, but the final option year of his contract is likely to be bought out for $2.5 million unless he reverses his on-field fortunes. For his career, Ethier is a .285 hitter with 160 home runs and 684 runs batted in.
