Historic White House look-alike mansion in Houston to be auctioned

Concierge Auctions is set to auction off a historic governor’s mansion east of Houston, which was modeled after the White House. The New York-based auction house will sell the Governor Ross Sterling Mansion — located on six acres at 515 Bayridge Road in La Porte — to the highest bidder on Dec. 8.
