Former Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki is selling his two-bedroom penthouse apartment in downtown Denver, which is within walking distance of Coors Field. It’s listed for $1.1 million.
Tulowitzki, nicknamed “Tulo,” was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays in a blockbuster midseason trade in 2015. Now he’s cutting a final tie to the Rocky Mountain area.
His 1,653-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bath apartment is in the Glass House, a modern, 386-unit property built in 2005. His penthouse unit has impressive views of the Rocky Mountains, the South Platte River, Commons Park, and the downtown skyline.

The Glass House is all about views, with each unit in the building boasting floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and bedrooms. Tulowitzki’s apartment is modern and spare, with tall ceilings, cement architectural features, hardwood floors in the common areas, and carpeting in the bedrooms.

Tulowitzki bought his penthouse apartment in 2008 for $835,000. He owned a home in the wealthy Denver suburb of Cherry Hills Village, and bought the Glass House apartment to be closer to the stadium on game days, listing agent Jeff Hendley says. Several other athletes live in the building.
“We’ve had significant activity, and I think it’s priced well, given the views and being on the top floor,” Hendley says. “It’s my guess that we should be able to procure a buyer here in the next month or so.”
Tulowitzki, 32, was drafted in 2005 and made his MLB debut the following year. He boasts a career batting average of .292, with 1,329 hits, and 217 home runs. He’s been selected to the MLB All-Star team five times, and has won two Golden Glove Awards and two Silver Slugger Awards.
In August, the shortstop sold his 14,157-square-foot Colorado mansion for $4.5 million. He had originally listed the home for $5.5 million.
