The Swan Queen has twirled her way into a stylish West Coast home.
Actress Natalie Portman, who won an Oscar in 2011 for her haunting role in “Black Swan,” shelled out $6.5 million for a nearly 4,000-square-foot, ocean-facing home in Montecito, Calif., a star-studded town located about 5 miles from downtown Santa Barbara, according to TMZ.

Listed by Kurt Rappaport, Joshua Nixon and Daniel Dill of Westside Estate Agency, the digs were asking $6.99 million.
The property, which sits on over 10 acres at 705 Toro Canyon Road, has four bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms. More notable, though, is its incredible industrial-style design.
Crafted by Santa Barbara-based architect Barton Myers, whose firm designed the award-winning addition to the Sacramento Hall of Justice, the spread mixes steel, glass and concrete, according to the listing. Concrete lines the floors, while shiny steel runs across the ceilings. But the most standout features are three glass garage-style doors that run across a large living, kitchen and dining area. They also fully open to the outside, granting Portman, husband Benjamin Millepied and their two kids unobstructed views of the Pacific.
There are also several fireplaces — one of which is part of an outdoor dining area — a cozy library and floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, listing images show patios, gardens and a pool that faces the ocean.

Portman isn’t the only big name to take up residence in Montecito. Television mogul Oprah Winfrey owns a 42-acre estate there named “The Promised Land,” according to according to Luxury Listings NYC.
But other celebs who have called Montecito home are now trying to decamp. Emmy-winning TV host Ellen DeGeneres and her actress wife Portia de Rossi listed their sprawling Montecito estate in March for $45 million.
DeGeneres had vowed that she would never sell that gated 10,500-square-foot residence, but later fessed up to being a serial real-estate flipper.
“I tend to keep painting the painting until it’s done, there’s nothing left to do,” she said, when the Montecito villa hit the market. “That’s when I sell the canvas and buy a new one.”
