Local home sale activity over the year slows again in May

A window into the Charlotte region's housing market in May showed a slight decline in home sales and continual price gains from the previous year. Inventory, too, remained depleted, with just a 2.5-month supply — or 9,795 homes — on the market, according to the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association's monthly report, released on Thursday.
