Attention, cat lovers: We guarantee you’ve never seen a fine feline living space like this before. And you probably never will again, which might be good—or bad, depending on how you look at it.

From the exterior, this Arizona home appears to be a modern log cabin set in the scrub of the high desert. But once you step inside, you’re immediately bombarded with kitties littered everywhere. As in everywhere.

Feline fanatics must see this two-bedroom, one-bath home situated on over 20 acres in an unincorporated part of Apache County known as Concho. Population: 38, including one extreme cat lover.

You’ll have to come up with a decent amount of scratch to buy this colorful 2,500-square-foot home. The listing price is $240,000, but some would say it’s priceless.

According to co-listing agent Sara Reidhead, of Century 21 High Country, the seller believes that somewhere out there is a cat lover who will find this cat-themed cabin purr-fect as is. The seller and her husband bought the property in 1992, then built the house. They customized it over the years, mostly by hand (and glue gun).

Although the home’s a bit isolated, the new owners will never be lonely, because they’ll be surrounded by tens of thousands of cats. They’re purring in photos plastered on the walls, staring up at you from kitty-themed carpets, and clawing their way up to the ceiling. Speaking of the ceiling—there are images of cats up there, too—this place is truly floor-to-ceiling cat.

Catastrophe or purrrfect?Cat-astrophe or purr-fect? You decide.

There are catwalks in every room, including the bath, and perches nailed to every wall. Scratching posts proliferate.

The listing says there is only one bathroom (yes, cats abound there as well, including the kitten on the toilet handle) for humans. For cats, there’s a “bathroom” full of litter boxes—and the requisite pictures of cats using human toilets coyly gazing up at you from the floor.

There’s a kitty bedroom as well, with bunk beds should your tabby decide to take a cat nap. And if that’s not enough, there’s also a medieval stone cat castle with multiple levels in the great room, because you never know when a Russian blue or a Persian might come to (cat) call.

And yes, you’ll be relieved to know that the homeowner has not met with a cat-astrophe.

In fact, after her husband (who helped her decorate the place) died some time ago, the homeowner found a new love who lives in town. She’s now ready to move a little closer to town, without being tied down to such a large and unique property.

So if you, like us, are wondering about the 500-pound Persian in the room, rest assured that cat odor is not an issue, nor is there a massive amount of cat hair covering everything.

Although the house could easily accommodate a few litters, the homeowner has only two cats.

“She just loves, loves, loves cats,” says Reidhead, who is co-listing the property with Liz Keller.

And if you don’t? “Bring your sandblaster,” she advises.
