Princess Aisha bint Hussein of Jordan, the sister of King Abdullah II, is selling her royal residence in Washington, DC, for $5.7 million.

The 50-year-old, who attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, serves as a major general in the Jordanian military, and became the first female in the Middle East to receive her parachutist wings, after completing five military parachute jumps.

Now the recently divorced mother of two is jumping into the real estate business, offering up her condo for sale.

The four-bedroom, five-bathroom penthouse was purchased in 2010 for $4.5 million, according to property records. If the home sells close to its asking price, the princess will pocket a hefty profit.

The luxury unit features views of the Potomac River, Kennedy Center, and DC proper. The 5,135-square-foot, two-floor spread includes a gourmet kitchen, four gas fireplaces, an in-law suite, two large terraces, and a private elevator.

The waterfront luxury building comes with all the amenities royalty might require: 24-hour security, VIP concierge service, a fitness center, and three reserved garage parking spaces. The convenient Georgetown location is close to the Foggy Bottom Metro Station, as well as dining, shopping, and cultural options.

Built in 2008, the six-story structure contains seven residences, six of which are two-level penthouses, according to the building’s website. All units feature floor-to-ceiling windows to “better showcase the views,” high ceilings, and walnut or cherry flooring.

After graduating from Sandhurst, the princess served in her country’s special forces, and completed even more parachuting courses. She is currently assigned as the defense attaché to the Jordanian Embassy to the United States.
