The “irreplaceable,” opulent compound in Malibu, CA, that Beyoncé and JAY Z had rented last year was reportedly purchased for about $50 million.

The luxurious, gated estate on 6.5 acres features just about every luxury amenity imaginable: hand-laid mosaic floors, carved limestone ceilings, a ballroom, and a pair of 18th-century chandeliers blinged out with amethyst and rock crystal, according to the Wall Street Journal.

La Villa Contenta, as it’s called, also has a guesthouse, office structures, and a carved marble pool pavilion with onyx panels. The grounds include a desert and rose garden, an infinity pool, and tennis court. And did we mention the unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean?

The 10-bedroom home owned by investor Richard Weintraub wasn’t on the market when it was sold. But it was listed last year for $54.5 million. It was sold to a company affiliated with Behdad Eghbali, a partner at a private investment firm, according to the Journal.

Beyoncé and JAY Z lived in the luxurious pad after their twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, were born. It’s unknown how much they paid for the compound, but the rent was reportedly listed at $40,000 a month in the summer, according to the Journal. That’s more than many folks earn in a year!

But the music megastars haven’t exactly been slumming it since they left. They purchased their own $88 million, 30,000-square-foot estate in Bel Air last summer. Highlights include a 15-car garage, recording studio, and basketball court.

They also own a $26 million, seven-bedroom mansion in East Hampton, NY, in the exclusive Georgica Pond area. And in May, a trust affiliated with Queen Bey purchased a century-old church in New Orleans. It was listed at $850,000, and happens to be a few blocks from where her sister, Solange, lives.
