Judge Jeanine Pirro Wants to Close the Case, Slashes Price of NY Mansion Again

Judge Jeanine Pirro is having a difficult time rendering a verdict on the sale of her mansion in New York’s Westchester County. Now the outspoken Fox News personality has dropped the price on her place to $3.4 million. It was initially listed for $5 million in 2015.

Located in the upscale community of Rye, the European-style manor is formal and refined. Built in 1988, the 8,000-square-foot main house has five bedrooms.

Rose marble floors, rare blue marble countertops, marble columns, leaded-glass china cabinets, and floor-to-ceiling Palladian windowed doors are just a few of the luxe touches incorporated throughout the interior.

The home sits on an acre and a half of manicured lawns and gardens with a pool, several spaces for outdoor entertaining, and what the listing describes as a “whimsical cigar hut.”

In 2015 listing agent Michele Flood told us Pirro used the grounds to host events, including some weddings that she officiated herself.

In late 2017 Pirro cut the price from $5 million to $3.8 million, which Flood said was an indication of Pirro’s interest in selling the estate quickly.

“It’s price, price, price,” Flood said last year. The judge was “very motivated. The price is much more market-compatible.”

The intervening months have only intensified Pirro’s interest in selling, reflected in this week’s reduction.

Pirro was busted for speeding earlier this year, going 119 mph in a 65-mph zone. According to the New York Post, Pirro copped to speeding and the charges were reduced to a fine and driving school. Perhaps she’s ready to move closer to midtown Manhattan and spend less time commuting by car.

A friend of the Trump administration, Pirro has deep roots in the Westchester area. In 1990, she became the first woman to sit as a judge in the Westchester County Court. Previously she was a prosecutor. Her legal background has caused some to consider her a possible candidate for the U.S. Supreme Court.
