Miami has its mojo back. For the second week in a row, the South Florida mecca has the most expensive new listing on realtor.com®. Behold the $42 million penthouse in the upscale Echo Brickell building.

“It’s beautiful. It’s totally unique,” says listing agent Lourdes Gutierrez. While the unit is still raw space, the finishes are set to be completed this spring, with interiors by the famed Yoo Studio, which was co-founded by designer Philippe Starck.

While there are no photos of the actual two-story condo on the 56th and 56th floors of the boutique building, Gutierrez says, “It’s amazing. It’s just like you see in the renderings.”

The finished layout will measure 9,425 square feet and have four bedrooms and 7.5 baths. The penthouse is the only residence on the top two floors of the building, with views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, and downtown Miami.

The residence also comes with direct elevator access, indoor lap pool, private gym, sky garden, and terraces. Interior features include 23-foot-high ceilings, floor-to-ceilings windows, marble flooring, and Poliform cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms.

And while it was reported last year that the developers considered splitting the penthouse into smaller units, that’s not the case, notes Gutierrez.

Building amenities include an infinity pool, spa, and fitness center. Plus there’s an architectural pedigree to the place: The 180-unit building was designed by architect Carlos Ott.
