Wisconsin home prices climb 7% as sales fall

The lack of houses listed for sale continues to pinch the market, contributing to a 10.7 percent statewide decline in sales in April and an increase in prices, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association. The median sale price was up to $171,000 statewide, a 6.9 percent increase over April 2016. The state tallied 6,608 sales last month, almost 800 fewer than April of last year.
