John Lynch, the new general manager of the San Francisco 49ers, spent a good portion of his career in Colorado playing for the Denver Broncos. He also spent a good chunk of his life living the mile-high lifestyle in the Rockies.

However, now that he’s been tasked with turning around the woeful 49ers in Santa Clara, CA, Lynch has put his Rocky Mountain house up for grabs. The Englewood, CO, home is now on the market for $2.99 million.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom house sits on a half-acre lot, just outside of Denver. It measures 7,698 square feet and features a wine cellar, patio space, and lake and mountain views.

The home’s open floor plan is ideal for entertaining. There’s a main-floor study with a fireplace, perfect for spending late nights on front office work.

Lynch’s departure from the Denver area coincides with a couple of San Francisco Bay Area sales earlier this year. The disarray in the Bay Area spurred Colin Kaepernick—the controversial QB who’s still a free agent—to put his San Jose home on the market in December 2016 for $2.9 million. The home sold in late February for just a smidge over list price.

Trent Baalke, Lynch’s predecessor as GM, listed his San Jose home for $3.3 million after he was fired in January. His home also sold in rapid fashion, but Baalke got tackled for a slight loss. His home was sold in late March for $3.1 million.

Wherever Lynch calls home in the Bay Area, he’ll have a mountain of a task as he tries to restore a once-storied franchise to its glory days. But whoever steps up to buy Lynch’s Colorado home will face a much less daunting task.
