Two-time All-Star Allan Houston, who had his NBA career cut short by debilitating knee issues, cashed in during his injury-plagued tenure with the New York Knicks.
He signed a six-year, $100 million contract with the team in 2001, and befitting his big deal, he bought a multimillion-dollar mansion in New York’s affluent Westchester County in 2006.
Now, the massive custom-built mansion is on the market for $19.5 million. The property, which features a staggering 26 rooms, including eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, is located in the private enclave of Conyers Farm.

Naturally, a basketball star’s home calls for a basketball court. Houston’s is not only indoors, it’s also unique. Instead of the league-standard maple or parquet, the court flooring is made of cherry wood—with matching walls and raised ceiling.
The hardwood carries over to the trophy room, where a silhouette of Houston midshot frames the floor. Other amenities include a pool, fitness center, steam room, spa, terrace, putting green, and four-room master suite.
One person who could have put the Houston basketball court to good use was Barack Obama, who held a presidential campaign fundraiser at the home in 2007. According to the Wall Street Journal, they didn’t get to use Houston’s court, but they did talk basketball and engaged in some friendly Bulls-Knicks trash talk.

“It’s very versatile,” Houston said of the court, according to the Wall Street Journal. Now all the former Knicks star needs is a buyer with more than enough versatility in their checking account.
