Now that political commentator Tucker Carlson has taken over Bill O’Reilly’s coveted prime-time slot on Fox News, the bow-tied pundit is cutting loose his home in Washington, DC.
Listed for $2.2 million, Carlson’s seven-bedroom, 5.5-bath Colonial is located along the Potomac River in the Palisades section of DC. Built in 1941, the home was recently renovated and features a new kitchen that opens up to a spacious den.
The 4,784-square-foot home has a large living room, dining room, and sunroom, according to the listing. The home’s 9,000-square-foot lot includes a manicured front lawn and a flagstone walkway that is flanked by shrubs.

Carlson bought the house in 2011 for $2 million, records show.
Carlson, 47, hosts “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and has moved into a key slot for the news network. He’s also co-founder and former editor of The Daily Caller website and appeared on CNN’s “Crossfire” for years. He briefly tried to boogie on the 2006 season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” but was the first competitor to be eliminated.
