White House chief of staff Reince Priebus and his wife, Sally, are cutting ties to the simple life in Wisconsin. The couple are selling their darling 2,900-square-foot Cape Cod–style home about 30 minutes south of Milwaukee for $300,000.
Their family home in Kenosha, WI, has three baths and three bedrooms, including a master suite with loft. There’s also a finished basement and a kitchen with granite counters.
Best of all, the place has frontage on a 16-foot-deep pond stocked with bluegills and small-mouth bass—although it’s only catch-and-release in these waters.
The Priebus home in Wisconsinrealtor.com
Since becoming President Donald Trump’s chief adviser, Priebus and his family (he’s got two young children) have been living in a $1.25 million house in Alexandria, VA, which they bought in January.
The Alexandria house is close to Mount Vernon, George Washington’s historic home, and about a half-hour drive to downtown Washington, DC. If Priebus misses casting a line in the water and hooking a bass, he can give the Potomac River a try. If an angler manages to catch a Potomac bass (good luck with that), he can keep it.
Priebus is a native of Kenosha and a former chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party and the Republican National Committee.
