Where Will Ivanka and Jared Live Next? Here Are 3 Homes We Bet They’d Love to Buy

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are on the house hunt! At least, that’s the word at the Washington Post, which recently reported that the first daughter and son-in-law have been touring homes for sale with the hopes of striking a deal.

For the past year, Trump and Kushner have been renting a six-bedroom house in Kalorama, an affluent neighborhood in Washington, DC, but its lack of privacy—and parking spots—appear to be nudging them elsewhere. But where will they move next?

Insiders say they’ve toured at least one home in the equally ritzy but more secluded Massachusetts Avenue Heights neighborhood just north of Kalorama.

“Massachusetts Avenue Heights and Kalorama are the two most highly sought-after luxury neighborhoods in that area because of their proximity to everything,” says Alex Venditti, a real estate agent and executive vice president of the Alex Venditti Group of Coldwell Banker in Washington, DC. They’re both an easy commute to the White House and perfectly situated near all the best schools.

But if privacy is at the top of their real estate wish list, Venditti says, Massachusetts Avenue Heights takes the cake.

“It’s more private than Kalorama simply because the lot sizes are larger, and a majority of the homes back up to Rock Creek Park,” Venditti explains.

Some of the best homes in the neighborhood are sheltered by tree coverage and are exposed to only one street—likely an attractive feature for Trump and Kushner, whose current home is fully exposed to three streets.

And while there are other posh DC neighborhoods that would likely suit Javanka, Venditti says he doesn’t think they’ll venture there if anonymity is truly what they desire. “Georgetown is great, but it’s still dense and you won’t have that privacy,” he says.

Currently there are only a handful of homes on the market in Massachusetts Avenue Heights that would appeal to Trump and Kushner’s premium taste, but here are three we could realistically see them buying if they do decide to put down roots.

If they loved the look of their old home…

2615 30th St NW
Price: $5,500,000

Blue trim and Colonial architecture? We’ve seen this somewhere! If you squint hard enough, this 8,800-square-foot home looks strikingly similar to the Kalorama home Trump and Kushner currently rent, save for the brick facade and that expansion to the left. Provided their problems with their rental have nothing to do with the actual design of the home, why not stick with something they’re familiar with?

It also checks several of their boxes: There’s room for multiple cars to park, it’s exposed to the street on only one side, and it’s more removed from the street than their current rental.

If they need more privacy…

3120 Woodland Dr NW
Price: $5,999,000

This six-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot home in the heart of Massachusetts Avenue Heights offers some of the best tree coverage of any of the houses in the neighborhood.

“The front is the only part of the house that is exposed, so this would provide the best privacy for them,” says Venditti.

Plus, the classic Georgian architecture—typical of many historic DC estates—is a departure from the contemporary style of Trump and Kushner’s current home. If we had to put money on it, we’d wager this is the home they jump for.

Venditti agrees: “If they want a federal, traditional home with a gracious yard and pool, this home would suit their time in Washington well.”

If they crave a contemporary colossus…

2815 Woodland Dr NW
Price: $10,750,000

For a power couple who are used to having it all, this 10,000-square-foot mansion checks every box. It’s private, comes with luxury amenities such as a movie theater and an exercise room, and features sweeping views of the half-acre grounds. It’s across from Rock Creek Park and, Venditti tells us, was built into a steep ravine so very little of the house is actually exposed. It’s a much more modern look than many of the more conservative Colonial-style properties in the DC area, but Trump is used to being around over-the-top interiors, so the extravagance of this place could make her feel right at home.
