The Ewa Plain — an area of West Oahu that includes Ewa Beach and Kapolei — recorded a 16 percent increase in the number of single-family homes sold 2017, while the Ala Moana-Kakaako area of Honolulu saw an increase of 13 percent in the number of condominiums sold, according to data from the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
