As much as we hoped they might be able to work things out, the split between Fergie and Josh Duhamel is official. In fact, Duhamel just bought a place of his own: a $2.69 million home in Encino, CA. And despite its sleepy cul-de-sac locale, the home screams “bachelor pad.”

The five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom, 3,281-square-foot home was built in 2005 “with a Philippe Stark–inspired architectural design,” according to the original listing. The interiors feature neutral colors, simple textures, and white walls.

The home’s lines are clean, there’s plenty of light, and the floor plan is open and airy. At first glance, it might be hard to see the home’s full value. But outdoors is definitely where the magic happens. To start, the home has 180-degree views of the valley below, plenty of green lawn, and a crystal-blue pool with accompanying Brazilian mahogany deck.

There’s also a poolside blue-glass fire pit, Viking barbecue, and hot tub with a view. It’s the quintessential California party pad, and there’s no doubt the former model-turned-actor won’t have a problem finding plenty of folks willing to keep him company in his new digs.

According to Variety, Fergie will keep the $5 million Brentwood estate the two purchased in 2007. Fergie and Duhamel went public with their split in September, after eight years of marriage. Duhamel and Fergie have one son, Axel.

The “Transformers” franchise star is set to premier his passion project, “The Buddy Games,” a movie he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in.

We’re glad the busy single dad has found a place to call home. We’d also like an invitation to the housewarming pool party.
