See where Ohio home prices are going

Much like what’s happening across the Dayton region, home prices in Ohio continue to rise. CoreLogic data shows home prices in the Buckeye State are up 5 percent year over year. Rising home prices are an indicator of a growing economy, but also can reflect a tighter inventory of houses. In the Dayton region, the average sales price in August totaled $162,000, leaping past last year’s figure by 11 percent, according to the Dayton Area Board of Realtors.
