When you’re an NBA player, you’re no stranger to missing a shot or two.

As such, Los Angeles Laker Luol Deng‘s trek to selling his mansion in Northbrook, IL, hasn’t been without its misses. However, the NBA forward by way of Sudan and the United Kingdom can finally claim a victory on the real estate front.

After three years and several price drops, Deng’s 7,600-square-foot home has a new owner, who paid $1.75 million. Deng had initially listed the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in 2014 for $3.5 million.

The home features a two-story foyer with an elegant chandelier and bridal staircase. The adjacent great room with limestone fireplace offers lovely views of the yard.

The state-of-the-art kitchen has granite counters, custom mahogany cabinets, and a walk-in pantry. There seven bedrooms, seven baths, and two half-baths.

The master suite features a fireplace, sitting area, terrace, custom walk-in closet, and luxe bathroom with double vanities, steam shower, and oversized jetted tub. The 3,300-square-foot basement has a gym, home theater, and bar area.

Deng is a two-time NBA All-Star who spent 10 seasons playing for the Chicago Bulls before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014. He’s since played with the Miami Heat and, most recently, the Los Angeles Lakers.
