The Dallas home built by legendary football coach Tom Landry has hit the market for $1.25 million, says SportsDay.
The four-bedroom, three-bathroom ranch home is located in the Hockaday neighborhood. It features walls of windows with views of the covered backyard patio with fire pit.
The main floor features pickled hardwood flooring, and the family room has a cathedral ceiling and fireplace.
The master suite comes with a sitting area and vaulted barrel ceiling. The master bath boasts his-and-her vanities and a jetted tub.

Landry played pro football for seven seasons in the early ’50s. He became the first head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in 1960 and cut a memorable figure on their sidelines for 29 seasons until 1988, winning two Super Bowls. His 20 straight winning seasons earned him a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
Landry built this home in 1962, and lived there until 1978. He died in 2000; he was 75.
The current homeowner purchased the house in 2015 for $795,000 and made renovations throughout.
“He’s not flipping,” says listing agent Marjan Wolford with Dave Perry Miller Real Estate in Dallas. “He was going to make it his forever home, but plans changed, so he’s selling.”
