Former NFL cornerback and five-time Pro Bowler Ty Law scored three Super Bowl trophies with the New England Patriots in 2001, 2003, and 2004. Now he’s looking to sell one of his prized possessions—his Plantation, FL, house is on the market for $2.2 million.

“It’s a real party house,” said listing agent Barbara Shapiro of Coldwell Banker, “But beautifully done in very high-end and contemporary taste.”

Shapiro praised the openness of the home’s interior and the NFL star’s taste. “He looks at a water view behind him, the lakes in the community. Ty was very involved in the designing of this house.”

If Law’s house looks familiar, you might have seen it on “MTV Cribs,” the show that profiled celebrities’ lavish lifestyles. And you might remember Law’s episode for one cringeworthy moment in particular.

Unraveling hammocks aside, the former Patriot’s six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom house is a Tahitian paradise—there’s a koi pond, a grotto that comes equipped with speakers, a Tahitian-style tiki hut with built-in couches, a grotto, a full bar, and a full-sized pool with rock accents for your own little slice of French Polynesia in Florida.

The home spreads over 5,500 square feet on a 0.6 acre lot. Interior amenities include a game room, spacious kitchen with custom wood, stainless steel and glass cabinets, white glass counters, and a multiseat home theater complete with Ty’s own personalized marquee.

According to Shapiro, Law liked having guests over frequently, which meant that the mini-Tahitian backyard hosted its fair share of get- togethers.

Law is the owner and founder of Launch Trampoline Park, a company he formed after he retired from the NFL. Launch specializes in entertainment facilities that host large, connected trampolines. Over the course of his NFL career, Law also played for the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Denver Broncos.

You might not get to feature it on “Cribs,” but for $2 million and change, this tropical Tahitian-inspired contemporary home can be yours.
