MLB All-Star Justin Morneau has yet to take the field in 2017, and it looks like he’s sliding into retirement in style. The 14-year big-league vet remains busy in real estate and put his mansion in Paradise Valley, AZ, on the market for $2.85 million.
The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion offers 8,373 square feet of living space on an acre lot. Amenities include a den/library, formal living and dining rooms, chef’s kitchen, game room with wet bar and wine cellar, family room, and home theater. Stone inlays with intricate patterns grace the kitchen and the living room fireplace.
Morneau made some renovations of his own: He lengthened the master closet and added a massage room, exercise room, and nursery. Outside, there’s a covered patio with misters, a built-in barbecue, a heated pool and double-fountain spa, a vegetable garden, and a children’s play area.

Morneau, who’s originally from New Westminster, British Columbia, is a four-time All-Star and the 2006 American League Most Valuable Player. The first baseman spent 11 seasons with the Minnesota Twins before moving on to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies, and Chicago White Sox. Morneau also sold a home in Colorado in early 2016.
