A former Milford Realtor has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison for running a Ponzi scheme that defrauded dozens of investors. Brenda Ashcraft, 46, received a sentence of eight years and one month in federal prison from Senior U.S. District Judge Sandra Beckwith on Monday. Ashcraft pleaded guilty in April 2015 to running the Ponzi scheme between 2009 and 2013.
