Local housing market in 2017 expected to be among tops in nation

The Jacksonville housing market is expected to experience some of the largest improvements in sales growth and in price increase in the coming year, according to the national housing website Realtor.com. Realtor.com forecasts Jacksonville as the sixth most improved market of 2017, with prices expected to increase by 4.8 percent and sales shooting up 7 percent.
