Everything’s bigger in Texas, and the maxim holds true with this 11,581-square-foot mansion in Fresno, TX, being sold by Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell. The home looks like it was built for big parties, big dinners, and big fun. The home, which is listed for $3.5 million, has multiple entertaining areas, indoor and outdoor bars, a home theater, and a giant pool.

Just south of Houston, the four-bedroom, six-bath home sits on 3 acres in the gated Newpoint Estates neighborhood. The two-story, Mediterranean-style mansion built in 2008 has a largely symmetrical design, anchored by twin towers flanking the arched entryway.

Inside, a curving marble staircase with wrought-iron railings leads to an open landing overlooking the dining room. A climate-controlled wine room behind a glass wall is adjacent to the dining room, with twin, arched doorways leading to a wet bar and the kitchen.

The chef’s kitchen features a large island, custom cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, double refrigerator, and Wolf range. There’s an arched kitchen pass-through to the family room, which has a coffered ceiling, wood flooring, and double french doors leading to the patio.

Cassell’s office features wood flooring, built-in bookcases, a stone fireplace, and sliding doors to the backyard. The master bathroom has wide steps leading to the tub, and a picture window into the shower with built-in seating. Elsewhere in the house, there’s a home theater with seating for eight and a game room with a bar.

Outdoors, the focal point is a T-shaped pool with spa and waterfall. There’s also a kitchen, wet bar with island, and fireplace. The backyard includes a fenced sport court, a fire pit with stone seating, and a second-story balcony with a flat-screen TV overlooking the pool. Elsewhere, there’s a seven-car garage.

Cassell, 47, played for eight NBA teams over 15 seasons before joining the coaching ranks. Early in his career, he helped the Houston Rockets to championships in 1994 and 1995. He capped his career with another NBA title in 2008, with the Boston Celtics.
