One of the tallest players in NBA history hopes the sale of his mansion in Potomac, MD, isn’t a tall order.

Former NBA center Gheorghe Muresan rose to fame in the 1990s with a 7-foot-7 frame that dwarfed most players in the league. And now the massive baller is selling an equally large spread: a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion on a 5.13-acre lot. It’s listed for $2.25 million.

Muresan had purchased the home in 2013 for $1,275,000, according to property records.

The big man from Romania fully renovated the home, according to the broker of the listing. Inside, the main feature is the massive kitchen that comes with a breakfast room, an eat-in area, a butler’s pantry, and separate cooking stations.

But the rest of the three-story mansion features a fair share of eye-catching details, including a double staircase, built-in bookcases, a built-in china cabinet, chair railing, and a pair of fireplaces. And, of course, the mansion features high ceilings.

On the outside, the first thing you’ll notice is lush, tall greenery. There’s also a pool and deck with a dining area that’s perfect for hosting guests during a Maryland summer.

Muresan spent four of his six NBA seasons with the Washington Bullets (now Wizards). In his best season, 1995-96, he averaged 14.5 points and almost 10 rebounds per game en route to winning the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. After ending his NBA career in 2000, he head to France to continue playing hoops. Off the court, Muresan had a memorable lead role in 1998’s “My Giant,” a film also starring Billy Crystal.
