Home sales soar, inventory plummets across Charlotte area in March

A familiar picture of the Charlotte region's housing market was painted in March. On one hand, home sales posted a strong 11.5% annual increase, with 3,965 properties sold — up from 3,557 in March 2016, according to CarolinaMLS data tracked monthly by the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association.
