After receiving a decent offer, “Indecent Proposal” star Demi Moore finally sealed a deal for her Upper West Side mansion in the sky for $45 million, the New York Post reports.
Granted, $45 million is a hefty price tag, even for the high-flying New York City real estate market. But the mansion was sold at a huge discount—the spread originally hit the market in 2015 for $75 million.
The Hollywood A-lister bought the luxury penthouse in the famed San Remo building with former hubby Bruce Willis in 1990. The 54-year-old now prefers to live in her other abodes, telling the New York Times that she was letting go of the glorious Upper West Side triplex because it was “too magnificent not to be lived in full time.”

We can all agree that this place is indeed magnificent. The “floating mansion” sits atop the iconic Art Deco apartment building rising above Central Park. It was one of the last “classically inspired” luxury apartment buildings to be constructed in the late 1920s. According to the listing, “no expense was spared in efforts to make the units some of the most lavish apartments available.”
The three-floor apartment comes with a private elevator, a majestic double-height foyer, with stairs leading up to five bedrooms and a staff room. The main floor includes a kitchen and breakfast room, dining room, living room, and library.

The third floor features a double-height entertainment room and guest loft, study, and bathroom. It opens to a wraparound terrace with views of Central Park and the city skyline. We know, we know, we’re also in love.

The full-service co-op totals three floors and 17 rooms, including six bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The monthly maintenance will set you back nearly $20,000.
While your bankroll may have prevented you from bidding on this particular gem, you can still move into the building. We found two units currently for sale: a ground-floor two-bedroom, two-bath apartment for $3,150,000, and a three-bedroom, three-bath unit on the ninth floor for $5 million.
The only downside to living in the San Remo? Moore will no longer be your neighbor.
