After starting 2018 with a year-over-year decrease in sales, the luxury segment of Houston’s housing market picked up for most of the rest of the year. The Houston Association of Realtors defines the luxury segment as homes priced at $750,000 or more. Month after month, the most expensive homes sold far exceeded the $750,000 mark.
