Oahu home prices rise 5% in December even as sales drop 28%

Home sales on Oahu dropped by 28 percent last month, compared to December 2017, even as the median price of single-family homes rose 5 percent to $788,000, according to statistics from the Honolulu Board of Realtors. There were 259 single-family homes sold in December, a 28.3 percent drop from 361 homes sold in December 2017.
