Jim Nabors‘ retreat in Honolulu has sold for $12 million. Golly!

Nabors, who played Gomer Pyle in “The Andy Griffith Show” and the subsequent spinoff, had lived on Oahu from 1992 until his death in 2017. He was 87. His trust listed the beach house for $14.9 million last summer.

Built in 1950 on a half-acre lot, the house is located three doors down from the Doris Duke estate and comes with 170 linear feet of ocean frontage.

The new buyers can easily swim in the ocean, jump in the backyard pool, or just lounge in the poolside cabana, which comes with a wet bar.

Inside, the foyer flows to the living room, which features floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors leading to a covered lanai with ocean view.

The 5,877-square-foot home comes with five bedrooms and six baths. There’s also guest quarters on the ground floor across from the pool.

Nabors’ long career spanned decades, and the comedian appeared on “The Carol Burnett Show” and hosted his own series, “The Jim Nabors Show,” for a single season. As a singer, he recorded more than 25 records and multiple singles.

Patricia Choi of Hawaii Life Real Estate Service represented the listing.
