Houston’s housing market saw another record-breaking year in a row in 2018 in terms of both sales and total dollar volume, the Houston Association of Realtors reported Jan. 9. Single-family home sales totaled 82,177 in 2018, up 3.8 percent from the previous record set in 2017, and sales of all property types hit 98,323, a 3.7 percent increase from 2017’s record volume, per HAR's press release.
