Home sales in the Dayton region finished 2018 strong. There were 1,029 sales of single-family homes and condominiums in December 2018, a 4 percent decrease from December 2017, according to a report from Dayton Realtors (formerly Dayton Area Board of Realtors). However, home prices were up over 8 percent from December 2017, with the average price of a single-family home or condominium at around $166,000 last month.
