Pop star Katy Perry is plunking down nearly $19 million for a Beverly Hills estate in an off-market deal, according to TMZ.
The five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home is located in a gated 90210 community down a long, flagstone driveway. The 1-acre estate features a gorgeous infinity pool that seems to drop into a forest of trees on undeveloped land in Coldwater Canyon.
Variety says the seller is Cody Leibel, owner of the former C-Note Records, who bought the property in 2007 for a little over $9 million.
The 5,427-square-foot contemporary, built in 1959, includes three fireplaces and interior spaces with high ceilings and glass walls that look out over lush landscaping. Variety added that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who live nearby, made an offer on the property in 2009.

Other close canyon neighbors include Adele and bestie Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, and Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

Perry is no stranger to the L.A. property game. She reportedly owns a couple of properties in the Hollywood Hills, which she scooped up in 2013 for a little over $11 million, and won a legal battle with some elderly nuns to purchase a former convent in Los Feliz.
