Vogel doesn’t know exactly how the barn was shipped to Connecticut nearly a century ago, but she does know the open interior spaces it provides are unique.
“The massive fireplace is the centerpiece of the home, and I think the ceilings in the living room are 36 feet high,” says Vogel.
The agent also knows it will take a particular buyer to understand the bonanza this barn represents, but with 16 acres of land plus 6,000 square feet of living space, the seven-figure asking price looks like a relative steal. Perhaps it could be a one-of-a-kind weekend getaway for a city dweller?
