Dayton-area home sales soar in March, as supply thins

Available homes are being scooped up by Dayton buyers at a faster pace than the year before and buyers are paying higher prices. The recovering housing market and improving demand is continuing to absorb available supply, the latest report from the Dayton Area Board of Realtors indicates. In March, there were 13,01 homes sold, up 13 percent from the same time last year. The price of homes grew to a medium sale price of $130,000, up 5 percent from the year prior.
