And while we’re more partial to Mrs. Featherbottom from “Arrested Development,” the charms of the gorgeous four-bedroom home in the city’s Pacific Heights neighborhood are impossible to deny. The $4.45 million price tag puts the iconic home out of reach for all but the most wealthy cinephiles.
Right on the heels of movie magic was yet another runner-up appearance for the country’s largest fixer-upper in Texas. Might a sale of the 60,000-square-foot unfinished mansion be on the way? We’ll keep an eye out for any movement.
You also clicked on a Mid-Century Modern bargain in Indiana, a decorator’s dream in Texas, and a Minnesota home on a prestigious golf course that received a boost from the recent Ryder Cup.

Why it’s here: Mid-Century Modern bargain hunters, rejoice! This Frank Lloyd Wright–inspired classic from 1955 is big (over 3,000 square feet) and cheap (only $63 per square foot). The three-bedroom home has been fully remodeled, and we’re in love with the home’s angular profile.

Why it’s here: Listing agent Leslie Majors told us this totally pin-worthy home has been shared a bunch on social media. “It’s a total remodel on a historic home, and it’s going to be featured in an upcoming issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine,” Majors said. Currently owned by a decorator, some of the home’s distinctive decor can be negotiated into the final sale.
