“Walking Dead” star Steven Yeun and his fiancée, photographer Joana Pak, have purchased a home in Los Angeles, according to property gossip Yolanda. The price for their freshly flipped slice of paradise? $2.3 million.

Yeun, who stars as Glenn Rhee on the oh-so-popular AMC zombie series, apparently paid cash for the revamped home on an itsy-bitsy 15-acre lot in the Los Feliz area. Despite the small lot, the listing says the property can fit a backyard pool.

The 3,324-square-foot 1970s-era home sold for $1.23 million in early February and reappeared on the market in early September for $2.48 million. However, with his rumored purchase price, the actor was able to knock almost $200K off the asking price.

When the dated residence was on the market earlier this year, its location “close to Griffith Park with easy freeway access to the Valley and Downtown” was one of the main selling points.

During its seven-month facelift, Yeun’s new home was given a totally contemporary feel, including an open kitchen with a white Caesarstone island. If you’re curious about the home’s appearance (and a bit of backstory) prior to renovations, we found an old photo of the formerly cedar-bedecked home.

The four-bedroom home also features vaulted ceilings, wide-plank hardwood floors, and exposed beams and posts. A formal dining room sits next to a custom wet bar, and the master bedroom opens to a grassy yard.

Yolanda added that the house “backs up to an alleyway that is shared with a long row of not particularly fancy apartment buildings and multifamily houses. Not so great for zombie security. Who knows what could be lurking out back, right?”
