Glam couple George and Amal Clooney have bought a condo in a high-rise under construction on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, our friends at the New York Post say.

And to make the purchase even juicier, The Real Deal says, the Clooneys’ apartment is one floor below an identical apartment that BFFs Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber purchased. (Gerber and George Clooney jointly own the Casamigos Tequila company.)

The condos are in a new building, with the rather basic name of One Hundred East Fifty Third Street, that’s expected to be completed next year.

Although we don’t know exactly how much the Clooneys paid for their new digs, an active listing on the 49th floor—a 3,385-square-foot, three-bedroom unit—is currently priced at $14.75 million. The Post pointed out that the pair decided against purchasing the penthouse unit in the building. That four-bedroom dwelling is also on the market, at a whopping $65 million.

Sources say the couple chose the building because it’s near the United Nations (East 42nd Street), which appeals to Amal Clooney, a human rights lawyer and visiting professor at Columbia Law School.

When complete, the upscale building will feature a wellness facility, swimming pool, and yoga and Pilates rooms. The first two levels will include a gourmet marketplace and restaurant.

George Clooney can add this fab property to his real estate portfolio, which includes a 17th-century mansion in England; a retreat on Lake Como in Italy; and a Studio City, CA, home.

George, who won the Best Actor Oscars for 2010’s “Up in the Air” and 2008’s “Michael Clayton,” wed Amal in 2014.
