Milwaukee-area home sales rise again, but limited inventory hurting market

Home sales in the four-county Milwaukee area continued to rise in September, but a lack of inventory appears to be limiting transaction growth, the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors reported Wednesday. Home sales in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee counties were up 6.1 percent in September, marking 22 of the last 25 months of growth.
