Low inventory but more sales in Buffalo home market

The Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors reported another rise in sales in August, with 1,362 single-family properties exchanging hands. That’s a 5.7 percent gain from 1,288 in the year-over-year period. And in the bigger picture it pushed total sales for the first eight months of 2016 to 7,799 — a whopping 21.3 percent increase from last year.
