A strong start to 2017 for the stock market and job creation did not translate into more South Florida home sales, as closings of both existing single-family homes and condos were down in February, according to the Florida Realtors. Single-family home sales declined 8.2 percent to 3,029 in the tri-county region, compared to the same month a year ago.
