Fashion Policeman Brad Goreski Selling His Stylish Holmby Hills Home

This is your chance to peek inside the fabulous home of style guru Brad Goreski and his writer/producer husband, Gary Janetti. The couple is selling their gorgeous Holmby Hills home for $3.8 million—and you can dish on the decor the same way Goreski dissects celebrity ensembles on “Fashion Police.”

In 2012, the duo shelled out $2.3 million for the “sophisticated traditional” style home built in 1933. It has four bedrooms and 3.5 baths spread over 4,542 square feet of living space. But those are just numbers, my dear, and they don’t begin to do justice to a home overflowing with chic attributes. And when we say “overflowing,” we mean it literally—there’s a terraced water feature in the front of the house, with sleek pools flowing into ponds at every level.

“There are so many beautiful water features in this home,” says listing agent Barry Dane of Keller Williams Realty. He noted the lily pond in back and the tiled waterway, with fountains wrapping around an outdoor conversation area.

Although there’s no swimming pool in the backyard, Dane says there’s plenty of room for one on the quarter-acre lot. Even without a pool, the trellis-covered terrace with a built-in banquette makes quite a splash.

Upon entering through the ruby-red front door, most people will want a peek at the closet of a stylist whose client list includes the likes of Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, Christina Ricci, Rashida Jones, and Minka Kelly. It doesn’t disappoint—it’s huge, and size matters to a fashion fanatic. The listing photo doesn’t do the large room justice, but yes, that is a bathtub in the corner. Because you can never be too clean or own too many pairs of designer shoes, right?

When you’re done drooling over the closet, you’ll notice some of the home’s other elegant accoutrements.

These include shiny ebony wood floors, with some pops of lipstick-red carpeting, and pristine walls of white, except for a bit of taupe-colored paint or silvery palmed wallpaper.

Aside from the decor, there’s the location. The house sits above Santa Monica Boulevard in Holmby Hills, oh-so-close to the L.A. Country Club, and only three residential blocks from the soon-to-open Westfield shopping park in Century City. Residents in the area are within minutes of all the joys of shopping and dining that both Westwood and Beverly Hills have to offer.

Rumor has it that the couple has another pied-à-terre in New York, but we don’t think they’ll be pulling up stakes in L.A. and moving to the East Coast. Both are busily engaged in West Coast projects— Goreski’s “Fashion Police” is still going strong, as is producer Janetti’s “Family Guy,” plus a new season of “Will & Grace.” Janetti was a producer on the original series for years, had a hand in last year’s hilarious election episode, and it’s likely he’ll be involved in the reboot slated for later this year.
