October home sales dip in Nashville area

Nashville-area home sales were down again in October, though not as dramatically as the month prior. There were 3,216 closings in the area last month, according to the Greater Nashville Realtors, down 1.6 percent compared to a year ago. September home sales were down 8 percent compared to a year prior. Single-family homes sold in October for a median price of $296,355, up from $277,642 a year ago.
