A Bum Note? Harry Styles Cuts Price of His L.A. Mansion—Again

Heartthrob Harry Styles has chopped the price of his stylish L.A. mansion again, Variety first reported.

But the former boy bander shouldn’t be singing the blues just yet. After all, the One Direction member bought the real estate in 2016 for $6.87 million, before making his film debut in 2017 in “Dunkirk.”

Perhaps he thought it might make sense to be closer to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. Whatever the initial thought process was, it changed.

Styles put the residence back on the market a year and a half after he bought it. The $8.5 million list price failed to entice buyers, so the 24-year-old performer trimmed it to $7.9 million earlier this year. It’s now at $7.5 million. 

The listing details an “extremely private, modern showplace.” Located above the Sunset Strip, the home features a great room with walls of glass, offering city views from the comfort of your couch. The Los Angeles Basin can also be viewed from the swimming pool, private terrace, or outdoor lounge.

Originally built in 1946, the home has been transformed into a contemporary space, featuring white tile flooring and a black and white chef’s kitchen with stone counters and bar seating. 

The 4,401-square-foot home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a home theater, and a yoga room off the pool area, as well as a cabana with bath. A driveway leads to a motor court and two-car garage. The master suite opens to a terrace.

Perhaps Taylor Swift’s ex should swallow his pride and ask her for some real estate advice. After all, she has successfully bought and sold multiple residences in the Los Angeles area. Styles reportedly has a condo in Tribeca near where Swift also owns property, and a pad in London.

Styles rocketed to fame as a member of One Direction. The singer-songwriter has since released a solo album, which hit the top of U.S. and U.K. charts. He is also the executive producer of the CBS sitcom “Happy Together,” and was named one of the 11 richest British musicians under 30.
