Two N.C. suburbs — including one in Charlotte — named among top 20 U.S. hotspots

An eastern Charlotte suburb fell just short of ranking within Realtor.com's measure of top 10 suburban hotspots in the U.S. Realtor.com placed the Wildwoods/Allen/Mint Hill suburb — located about 12 miles east of uptown — at No. 12 on the list, released Monday. Elsewhere in the state, Raleigh's Friendship/Apex suburb landed at No. 10.
