Kentucky smashes home sales record in 2016 as inventory remains tight

Home sales have rebounded in a really big way in Kentucky. The Kentucky Association of Realtors said Thursday that Kentucky set a record for total home sales last year, selling 52,123 homes in 2016. That’s an 8 percent increase from 2015, according to a news release, and KAR noted that home sales statewide have increased monthly for all but seven months during the past five years.
